Trump’s “Super Intelligence” order has set off a rush for Slovenian web addresses, but Slovenia says it isn’t getting rich Slovenia's domain registry Register.si reported 46,066 .si domains registered in the past month and 12,272 in the 24 hours to Saturday morning, up from fewer than 2,000 in August, after President Donald Trump's September 29 executive order directed federal agencies to say "Super Intelligence" and "SI" instead of "AI". Register.si spokesperson Klara Herman told the BBC about 44,000 .si addresses were registered in September, up 2,199% on August, while host Hostinger registered roughly 4,300 .si domains on September 30 and 5,400 on October 1, with more than half of buyers in the US and India. Register.si, part of public institute Arnes, said it collects a flat €10 (about $12) fee per domain through roughly 90 registrars and that media speculation about Slovenia earning millions has no real basis.
