Trump Administration pushes back on “doomsday” narrative

It’s been a tumultuous few days with media coverage on the “doomsday” concerns raised by 27-year-old Anthropic researcher Jacob Coxon, who quit to call attention to the issue.
Many in the AI industry appeared to agree with Coxon, including Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei, Elon Musk, Sam Altman, and Satya Nadella.
But not all were sold. Jensen Huang disagreed with Coxon’s assessment. So did President Trump, Vice President Vance, and David Sacks, the former AI Czar for the Trump Administration.
