A static recompilation project that translates Xbox 360 PowerPC code to x86-64 C++ to run GRAW natively on PC. The project is unofficial, requires user-provided game discs, and is currently in a functional but incomplete state.
GRAW 360 Recompiled is an unofficial project that statically recompiles the Xbox 360 version of Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter to run natively on PC. The process uses ReXGlue to translate PowerPC code into x86-64 C++ ahead of time, rather than employing emulation or decompilation. The project requires users to provide their own Xbox 360 game discs to build the executable. The current status is that the game boots, but work remains in various modes. While the front end is functional, the 3D view in Instant Action and co-op modes remains black, and the campaign program boots to its menu but cannot yet start missions. Development has involved extensive diagnostic work, including the implementation of probes for D3D state, physical memory dumps, and vertex logging. Claude Opus 5.5 is credited as a co-author on multiple commits, and the project was built with Claude Code. Performance testing indicates that running above 60 fps causes issues with animation speed and enemy AI behavior.
