Microsoft announced MAI-Cyber-1-Flash, its first cybersecurity model built to find vulnerabilities in complex code bases, which combined with MDASH delivers world-class performance at 50 percent of the cost of leading models. The capability is being brought to market through Project Perception, a complete agentic security offering with specialized agents that simulate attacks, detect and triage, and fix and remediate. Microsoft emphasized that separating models, harnesses, context, and action space advances the frontier of cost to outcome.
