Threat Detection and Mitigation: Strengthening Security in PrimeCRM PrimeCRM has implemented a new rules-based threat detection and mitigation layer that analyzes incoming submissions in real time to reduce spam and malicious traffic. During beta testing, the system successfully identified and filtered 99.9% of threat and spam submissions, significantly decreasing unwanted traffic and manual review. The company plans to continue enhancing detection rules and expanding coverage to adapt to emerging attack patterns. PrimeCRM introduces a new threat detection and mitigation layer, significantly reducing spam and malicious traffic across live sites. Over the past few weeks, we designed and implemented a new Threat Detection and Spam Identification capability within PrimeCRM, adding another layer of protection for websites and customer data. As websites grow, so does the volume of automated spam, malicious submissions, and low-quality traffic. These threats do not just create noise. They consume time, distort analytics, and can pose real security risks if left unmanaged. Addressing this challenge is a core part of building PrimeCRM as a production-ready platform. The initial implementation introduces a rules-based detection layer that analyses incoming submissions in real time. While this release is currently in beta, it has already proven highly effective. During testing across sites running PrimeCRM, the system successfully identified and filtered 99.9% of threat and spam submissions, significantly reducing unwanted traffic and manual review. See the above image which illustrates the impact of this release in real terms. The chart shows site submission statistics before and after the introduction of Threat Detection and Mitigation on 24 January, clearly highlighting how malicious and spam traffic previously skewed activity data. Following the release, this noise is effectively removed from the statistics, providing a far more accurate view of genuine user engagement See image below. This beta phase allows us to validate detection accuracy, monitor edge cases, and refine the balance between protection and legitimate user access. The focus is on preventing malicious activity without creating friction for genuine users. Threat detection and mitigation will continue to evolve as a core capability within PrimeCRM. We are actively enhancing detection rules, improving signal analysis, and expanding coverage to adapt to emerging attack patterns. These improvements benefit both our internal platforms and the customers running PrimeCRM in production. Security is not a one-off feature. It is an ongoing process. This update represents another step in strengthening PrimeCRM's foundations, ensuring it remains resilient, reliable, and ready to support long-term growth for ourselves and our customers.
