their prey.\n\nIndo-Pacific bottlenose dolphins (* Tursiops aduncus*), also known as 'buthu' in the Indigenous Butchulla language, are intelligent animals known for their tool use.\n\nBut very few people have ever seen the dolphins' shelling in action, let alone caught it on camera.\n\nThe new videos, captured at Hervey Bay, were presented by researchers from the University of the Sunshine Results\n\nResearchers have come a long way in developing treatments for food allergies, with [oral immunotherapies](https://www.sciencealert.com/new-immunotherapy-study-gives-encouraging-news-for-children-with-peanut-allergy) and [skin patches](https://www.sciencealert.com/skin-patch-allows-toddlers-with-a-mild-allergy-to-eat-a-few-peanuts-safely) both helping desensitize kids to peanuts, protecting them if they were to ingest small amounts.\n\nAnother potential way to retrain the immune system is through the gut, which houses a vast collection of [bacteria and other microbes](https://www.sciencealert.com/microbes-that-disarm-peanut-allergy-proteins-discovered-in-mouth-and-gut) that can either help or hinder health.\n\nIn a [new trial](https://doi.org/10.1126/scitranslmed.aee3263), scientists gave 15 adults with peanut allergies capsules containing [fecal microbiota](https://www.sciencealert.com/fecal-transplants-present-a-concerning-risk-for-some-study-finds) – essentially, carefully processed communities of gut bacteria extracted from healthy donors' poop.\n\nThis technique, called fecal microbiota or [fecal matter transplant](https://www.sciencealert.com/one-fecal-transplant-may-lower-diabetes-and-heart-disease-risk-for-4-years) (FMT), is a promising therapy that aims to 'reset' the gut microbiome.\n\nIn human trials, it has helped [alleviate depression](https://www.sciencealert.com/fecal-transplants-can-help-alleviate-depression-evidence-shows), inflammatory bowel disease, type 2 [diabetes](https://www.sciencealert.com/diabetes), and more
