Let me get straight into it and tell you what this TV brings to the table for its new $349.99 price tag. As mentioned, this is a mini-LED TV, so it’s a level-up from your standard LED option. This means that this TV has both fewer and more LEDs than your typical budget-friendly LED TV, which allows it to be more precise, brighter, produce better color, and have better contrast. This particular processor also has a Color Booster feature to showcase movies and shows at their best. So, where does this TV scale back? Well, its HDR support isn’t super extensive, but it does support HDR10+, which allows it to showcase HDR content in a much more nuanced and dynamic way compared to a TV with just HDR10, which is just a fixed picture setting. Its glossy coating is also not amazing for reflections or reducing glare; however, it does improve perceived color, sharpness, and contrast. For me, that’s really the only ‘downsides’, but they’re both more of a result of being an affordable mini-LED TV, rather than anything seriously negative.
