This card is a great way to go if you’re looking for something that’s a level up from the base RTX 5060 model, and offers punchier performance across the board, without being overly expensive. The big win here is that it’s built on Nvidia’s Blackwell architecture, so you’re getting something with improved ray tracing and tensor cores, and exclusive features like MFG.
Ryzen 7 8700F keeps this build cost-effective
What’s good about this CPU is that it’s not overly specced for this build, which helps keep costs much more reasonable. As mentioned, this is a slightly higher-end RTX 5060 Ti model, so you’re paying a bit more of a premium for its build quality, components, and design. I often come across RTX 5060 Ti 16GB models for a touch more from brands like Stormcraft, which can be found on Newegg, and they tend to have Intel i7-14700F processors and more RAM, too. The trade-off is that they’re not as future-facing with upgrades due to their 14th-gen LGA 1700 socket CPUs, but they’re worth considering if you’re still weighing up your options.
