I'm Freezing It in 48 Hours.", "summary": "A developer has launched an experimental collaborative article in which reader comments are periodically rewritten into the story by an LLM, Mercury 2.5, with a 48-hour freeze deadline. The system accepts Liquid tags for embedding YouTube, GitHub, and Twitter content, rejects unknown tags to prevent save-time breakage, and never applies the same comment twice, tracking addressed comment IDs in a machine-readable list.", "body_md": "This article started as one sentence. Everything after it was added by people who left a comment, then rewritten by Mercury so the story stays in one voice.\n\nLeave a comment. A few times an hour, a job reads the new ones and asks [Mercury 2.5](https://docs.inceptionlabs.ai/get-started/models) to weave them into the story above.\n\nLimits, so this stays a story:\n\nLiquid tags work. Put the tag in backticks so the comment renderer leaves the source intact:\n\n```\n{% youtube dQw4w9WgXcQ %}\n{% github forem/forem %}\n{% twitter 834439977220112384 %}\n```\n\nUnknown tags are rejected, because a bad tag can break the whole article on save. The same comment is never applied twice. A machine-readable list of addressed comment ids sits at the bottom of the source.\n\nWoven 0 of 200.\n\n| Comment | Author | Result | \n|---|---|---|\n|  |  | waiting for the first comment |", "url": "https://wpnews.pro/news/this-post-is-empty-the-comments-are-the-article-i-m-freezing-it-in-48-hours", "canonical_source": "https://dev.to/varshithvhegde/this-post-is-empty-the-comments-are-the-article-im-freezing-it-in-48-hours-3aik", "published_at": "2026-10-08 03:57:06+00:00", "updated_at": "2026-10-08 04:17:02.364345+00:00", "lang": "en", "topics": ["large-language-models", "generative-ai", "ai-tools"], "entities": ["Mercury 2.5", "Inception Labs", "Forem", "GitHub", "YouTube", "Twitter"], "also_reported_by": [], "alternates": {"html": "https://wpnews.pro/news/this-post-is-empty-the-comments-are-the-article-i-m-freezing-it-in-48-hours", "markdown": "https://wpnews.pro/news/this-post-is-empty-the-comments-are-the-article-i-m-freezing-it-in-48-hours.md", "text": "https://wpnews.pro/news/this-post-is-empty-the-comments-are-the-article-i-m-freezing-it-in-48-hours.txt", "jsonld": "https://wpnews.pro/news/this-post-is-empty-the-comments-are-the-article-i-m-freezing-it-in-48-hours.jsonld"}}
