ASUS ProArt displays are some of the best of the best if you’re looking for a display specifically designed for creative work. These monitors are all about wide color gamuts, accuracy, and connectivity, and the good news is that there’s pretty much something for every budget. The very top-end ASUS ProArt Displays don’t always see regular or deep discounts, but entry-level models, at least from my experience, see more price fluctuation. This particular model is currently just shy of its lowest price again on Amazon with 30% off its list price, and it brings a lot to the table for just $189.00.
If you’re short on time, here are the need-to-knows. This 1440p has a 75Hz refresh rate, is Calman Verified, has Delta E<2 accuracy, and 100% Rec. 709 color. Essentially, it’s a budget-friendly pick that’s going to be especially good for video editing, and a solid pick for photo editing and graphic design, too.
Read on for my breakdown of this monitor’s key features, pricing history, and more standout monitor deals.

What you need to know about this ASUS ProArt Display
1440p resolution and 27 inches
This is the sweet spot if you’re looking for picture clarity without shelling out for 4K, which are notably more expensive. At this size, it actually makes 1440p resolution look much sharper and crisper than you’d think.
Calman Verified with Delta E<2 accuracy
Creatives will be very familiar with this, but for those who aren’t, a monitor that’s Calman Verified basically means that you don’t have to calibrate it, as it’s already ready to go out of the box. Delta E<2 accuracy is another win, as it ensures that colors are extremely close to real life. That’s great for editing and especially good for more nuanced colors, like skin tones, for example.

100% sRGB and 100% Rec. 709 color
100% sRGB is pretty standard with most monitors, and it makes colors ‘pop’ off the screen and everything look more vibrant. For creative work, it’s good for web design, and for everyday use, it means that you’re not looking at something super drab, which is a win in my books. 100% Rec 709 color is also a win if you’re video editing, and further guarantees that your edits will translate accurately over to the final product.
IPS display
Not a huge amount to say, but it’s notably good for viewing angles, which makes it a good pick if you’re working with people on a team, or in an office, where you may have a few people looking at your screen at the same time.
Extensive connectivity
You’ve got USB-C connectivity here, alongside HDMI and DP, which gives you more than enough options for display and allows you to connect multiple devices to this monitor at the same time.

Is it a good time to buy?
As you can see from the pricing history above, it’s pretty much down to its lowest price ever once more, but discounts on this monitor are relatively frequent, so I wouldn’t say there’s a massive sense of urgency here, in all honesty. However, I’d say it’s worth jumping on while it’s this low, as there’s no guarantee it’ll be back at this price in the near future.
