US-based investment platform Robinhood has announced AI-powered trading tools, weekend stock trading, and crypto futures offering leverage of up to 10x.
Robinhood announced its new products targeting active investors at the HOOD Summit event in Houston. The company’s most notable innovation is Robinhood Agents, which can conduct market research on behalf of users and execute trades under certain conditions.
Users can create AI agents with access to a separate trading account by selecting either OpenAI or Anthropic models from within the application. These agents can analyze market data, create watchlists, and suggest stock, option, and cryptocurrency trades. Initially, each trade suggested by the agent will require user approval. However, users can disable this protection.
