Ted Entertainment opposes dismissal of suit v. OpenAI

Ted Entertainment has filed an opposition to OpenAI's motion to dismiss its copyright lawsuit in the Northern District of California, arguing the case should proceed outside the consolidated multidistrict litigation before Judge Stein. The opposition brief is the latest step in the dispute, which remains one of the few copyright cases against OpenAI not transferred to the MDL.

It’s interesting to see any copyright lawsuit against OpenAI outside of the MDL litigation before Judge Stein; nearly all such lawsuits have been transferred there. But, for whatever reason, Ted Entertainment’s lawsuit remains in the Northern District of California.
