Tata to build one of India's largest data centres

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) announced a $7.4 billion project to build a 1GW AI data centre in Hyderabad, India, through its subsidiary HyperVault. The facility, spanning 264 acres, will be one of India's largest data centres, designed for high-density, liquid-cooled infrastructure to serve frontier AI companies and hyperscalers.

HyperVault CEO said: “We are building infrastructure for where AI is going: higher density, liquid cooling, larger power blocks, and faster deployment.
