Swimlane launches AI security operations center for managed security services providers

Agentic artificial intelligence cybersecurity automation company Swimlane Inc. today announced the launch of an AI security operations center for managed security service providers.

The company said it built the new service to support its customers and partners rather than compete with them. It serves third-party cybersecurity providers that outsource security monitoring, threat detection, and infrastructure management.

Partners retain their customer relationships, keep their own data and maintain full ownership of the service they deliver; Swimlane provides AI agents and automations. The company’s operations center is built into Turbine, the company’s automation platform, which handles SOC workflows, vulnerability management, compliance audits and more.

“AI is disrupting the managed services market, and the providers who work with the wrong partner might enable their competitor,” said co-founder and Chief Executive Cody Cornell. “The ones who survive this shift are the ones who cost-effectively adopt AI and automation to provide best-in-class outcomes for customers.”

The company said its AI SOC helps replace costly, one-off professional service builds with a standardized operating model. This allows partner companies to accelerate onboarding, improve analyst efficiency and scale managed security services without needing to bring on an increasing number of team members to handle the load.

Working from a standard also means that partners no longer need to custom-build every experience for every customer, meaning they do less work for more value. Swimlane said by unifying analysis and command across distributed client environments and using AI as part of the delivery lifecycle, MSSPs can scale up operations efficiently.

The offering expands the existing AI SOC platform within Turbine, providing new services for service providers. It includes agentic AI-driven triage and investigation, a shared threat intelligence layer and a central command center that curates prioritized cases, including open cases and alerts, providing a bird’s-eye view and automated actions.

The company said Turbine also integrates with existing information technology service and customer relationship management tools, including Jira, so incident response doesn’t need to change. The tools remain the same and do not add extra work. The platform also isolates tenants and provides granular role-based access to keep client data separate. This supports whatever data hygiene, separation and compliance requirements that the MSSP may be expected to meet.

The company said Swimlane AI SOC for MSSPs is available starting today, with demos available for interested parties.
