a twelve-turn strategy game about building an AI company without accidentally ending the world.
if AI is going to shape the future, try making the decisions yourself. survive the ai future puts you in charge of an AI company for twelve turns, from infancy to growth to maturity. every turn brings an event and a decision, then shows what moved: capability, alignment, reputation, money, public awareness, governance, and the market around you.
the goal is not to push capability as high as possible. move too fast without alignment and you can trigger a doom ending. govern too aggressively and the company stagnates. the game keeps turning the abstract arguments about AI into tradeoffs you have to live with.
it is a small strategy game, but the question underneath it is large: can you build something powerful while keeping enough of the surrounding world able to absorb it?
