Frustrating problem..
I purchased an Intel Arc B70 to swap my old Quadro P2000 card in an old Unraid Server. Was looking to use it for some simple always on inference vs my main AI Workstation with a 5090.
When I install the card, in any of the 3x 3.0 X16 slots, it gets stuck posting on 91.
I’ve reset the BIOS
Installed the most recent BIOS revision
Modified BIOS settings to ensure that it is set to UEFI for graphics
Modified BIOS settings to ensure it is using offboard graphics instead of onboard
Pulled the CMOS battery to test it that way
Swapped the card amongst all 3x PCI 3.0 x16 slots. My other PCI cards work fine
wtf can the issue be at this point? Could it be the PSU, it’s a Corsair 860W? Any other suggestions?
Went ahead and swapped the PSU as the old one was 11 years old at this point and also hoped the extra wattage would be what was needed. Still no post. Giving up. I guess the one good thing is that I can sell the card for more than I paid for it.
