Today we’re taking our biggest step yet toward that vision. We’re introducing v6, a new generation of music models developed with our industry partners, including Warner Music Group, BMG and Believe. v6 models are our best yet. They are faster, more expressive and higher quality, with powerful new features that give creators greater control over their music. v6 brings our most advanced music creation tools to everyone, from Grammy-winning artists to people making their very first song. This also marks the beginning of a new chapter for music. v6 is designed to expand what is creatively possible and lay the foundation to launch new products that open up revenue opportunities across the music ecosystem. We believe this is a blueprint for how AI and the music industry can strengthen one another and build entirely new product experiences for artists, fans, and the broader music community. v6 is the result of years spent advancing our technology, getting feedback from artists and our community, strengthening safeguards and building partnerships across the music industry. Our team holds weekly writing camps with artists, producers, songwriters, and musicians to learn how they are using Suno in their creative workflows. We’ve also introduced safeguards to screen uploaded audio files and lyrics for unauthorized use, give people greater transparency into how AI is used in music and make it harder for bad actors to abuse these tools. All of this helped lay the foundation for v6 and create a healthier, more expansive music ecosystem. ## **What’s new** For the first time, we have built a suite of models to support all the different people who make music with Suno, from professional artists and producers, to emerging creators, to music lovers. Their needs are different. Some creators want precision and control. Others want a creative spark that takes them somewhere unexpected. That is why v6 comes in three models: - **v6** is our flagship model for Pro and Premier subscribers. It is reliable, precise and consistently delivers polished music across every genre and style. When you know what you want, v6 helps you get there. - **v6-wild** is built for exploration. Available to Pro and Premier subscribers, it is less predictable and more varied, producing unexpected, textured and ambitious results. It gives you new ideas to riff on, build from or bring back into v6 for further refinement. - **v6-mini** is a faster, more efficient version available to everyone. It makes it easier than ever to turn an idea into a song – it delivers better, faster results than any free model on any music creation platform. Across all three models, v6 understands more of the language and building blocks musicians use, from vocals, instrumentation and structure to mood, references and the overall feel of a song. v6 makes it easier for every kind of creator to communicate a complex vision, explore different directions and refine the details. ## **More ways to create, with more control at every step** With v6, creators can now: - **Edit part of an existing song using plain language.** Change one section while preserving everything else you already love.*“Change the chorus so it’s sung by a gospel choir”* - **Build a mashup from multiple sources in one request.** Combine elements from your different songs and describe how they should work together.*“Take the vocals from x, drums from y, and add new lyrics about losing control, make it 80s synthwave”* - **Sample, isolate and build a new beat in a single workflow.** *“Sample the riff at 0:45, isolate the guitar, build a beat around it”* - **Create from a vibe, genre or mix of inspirations.** v6 can understand the feeling behind a reference and use it as the starting point for something original.*“Make a song that feels like midnight on a rooftop”* - **Create with text, audio, images and video.** Start with a written idea, voice memo, visual or video and turn it into music.*“Make a song based on this image, this audio, and my journal entry”* - **Update a single lyric without rebuilding the entire song.** Change one word or line while leaving the rest intact.*“Change the lyric from ‘love’ to ‘light.’”* As v6 rolls out, we will retire our previous models and move Suno entirely onto the v6 generation. ## **What comes next** Our new models build on our ongoing work with artists, creatives, and the broader industry to shape the future of music and Suno. What comes next is a new kind of product we’re developing: opt-in experiences built around individual artists, where artists can choose to participate and get paid when they do, and fans get new ways to connect with the artists they love.
