The AI music company launched a beta version of a tool called Speech on October 1, 2026. It lets users build audio tracks that blend spoken-word content with original background music. Think poetry readings, speeches, and bedtime stories, all with a custom soundtrack humming underneath.

CEO Mikey Shulman reported that, as of October 1, 2026, Suno had surpassed two million subscribers. He also said annual recurring revenue topped $300 million.

How Suno got here #
The company has been iterating quickly through 2026. Its v5.5 release came in March, followed by v6 in September.
Those earlier versions introduced capabilities including voice cloning and multimodal inputs. Multimodal means the system can accept more than one type of input, rather than relying on text prompts alone.
Suno also works alongside major players in the recorded music business. The research findings name Warner Music Group, BMG, and Believe as notable industry partners connected to its recent rollout.
