The effort yielded a web-based demonstration of the simulator that allows the legacy flight simulator to run and be studied on modern systems. The work was documented in a public repository and a YouTube video.", "body_md": "## Evidence at a glance\n\nLoading source evidence…\n\n## What was done\n\nThe author uses Claude Code to reverse engineer the Commodore 64 game Sublogic Flight Simulator II, resulting in documented source code and a functional web-based demonstration.\n\nThe author reports using Claude Code to reverse engineer the Commodore 64 version of Sublogic Flight Simulator II. The project involves analyzing the original machine code and logic to produce readable source code. The author documents the process in a repository at As a result of this effort, a web-based demonstration of the simulator is available at The work focuses on translating the legacy assembly or machine-level instructions into a format that allows for modern execution and study.\n\nSources: [Source 1](https://youtube.com/watch?v=iOjYYYu6rfc)\n\n## Community\n\nAsk a question, share what worked, or follow the next milestone.\n\n[Your library](https://reversedwithai.com/library)", "url": "https://wpnews.pro/news/sublogic-flight-simulator-ii-commodore-64-reverse-engineering-commodore-64-with", "canonical_source": "https://reversedwithai.com/p/sublogic-flight-simulator-ii-commodore-64-71c9fac6", "published_at": "2026-10-30 19:00:58+00:00", "updated_at": "2026-10-30 19:19:24.001062+00:00", "lang": "en", "topics": ["artificial-intelligence", "ai-tools", "ai-agents"], "entities": ["Claude Code", "Anthropic", "Sublogic Flight Simulator II", "Commodore 64", "YouTube"], "also_reported_by": [], "alternates": {"html": "https://wpnews.pro/news/sublogic-flight-simulator-ii-commodore-64-reverse-engineering-commodore-64-with", "markdown": "https://wpnews.pro/news/sublogic-flight-simulator-ii-commodore-64-reverse-engineering-commodore-64-with.md", "text": "https://wpnews.pro/news/sublogic-flight-simulator-ii-commodore-64-reverse-engineering-commodore-64-with.txt", "jsonld": "https://wpnews.pro/news/sublogic-flight-simulator-ii-commodore-64-reverse-engineering-commodore-64-with.jsonld"}}
