# Stuck when trying to download any model to use in Colab

Hello,

Today, when I tried to download a model from Hugging Face to use in Google Colab, it kept getting stuck at 1%. I don’t know why that’s happening. I’ve tried everything, such as disabling it (HF_HUB_DISABLE_XET = 1), but it didn’t work.

Not only stuck when downloading the embedding model, but also the LLM
