Straiker Raises $64M to Secure Enterprise AI Agents

For practitioners: Agentic AI - autonomous assistants that act across systems - creates new runtime and adversarial risk that standard controls were not designed to catch. According to a PR Newswire release, Straiker announced a $64 million Series A, bringing total funding to $85 million, in a round led by Marathon Management Partners with participation from Citi Ventures, Illuminate Financial and Workday Ventures and continued support from Bain Capital Ventures and Lightspeed. SiliconANGLE reports Straiker offers discovery, pre-deployment adversarial testing and runtime protection for AI agents, and that its STAR Labs research found 36% of successful attacks on coding agents led to remote code execution and 91% of attacks on productivity agents produced silent data exfiltration. SiliconANGLE also quotes CEO Ankur Shah: "Demand is outpacing anything we forecast," and reports run-rate revenue grew more than 15-fold in under a year.
