Spotify’s new ticket reservation system for artist superfans goes live in the U.S. Spotify launched Reserved, a new Premium feature that holds up to two concert tickets for an artist's most dedicated fans before general sale, in partnership with Live Nation and powered by Ticketmaster. The feature is now available to eligible Premium subscribers aged 18 and older in the U.S., with Role Model as the first participating artist. Spotify today launched Reserved, a new Premium feature that gives eligible fans access to concert tickets before they go on general sale. Here are the details. Reserved by Spotify launches in the U.S. A few weeks ago, Spotify announced Reserved https://9to5mac.com/2026/05/21/spotify-building-ai-powered-tool-that-will-let-subscribers-make-music-covers-and-remixes/ , a new Premium feature designed to hold up to two concert tickets for some of an artist’s most dedicated fans. Today, the company launched https://newsroom.spotify.com/2026-06-18/reserved-by-spotify-guide/ the feature “in partnership with Live Nation, and powered by Ticketmaster,” and it is available to Premium subscribers who are 18 or older in the U.S. Here’s Spotify on how Reserved works: “With Reserved, we identify an artist’s most dedicated fans and hold two tour tickets for them to purchase before the general sale goes live. Eligibility is based on a wide range of signals like streams, saves, and shares, as well as location, to make sure offers reach fans who are likely to attend.” The company said that it has decided to keep some of the details of Reserved secret, in an attempt to curb attempts to manipulate the feature, engaging “strategically rather than genuinely.” Spotify says that eligible fans will see a Reserved offer on their Spotify Home screens, as well as in interfaces such as Search, the artist’s page, the Your Live Events feed, and the Now Playing view. Reserved will show the artist’s tour dates, the ticket-purchasing window, and an option to set a reminder so fans can plan ahead. The platform will also send emails and push notifications to make sure fans don’t miss out. Importantly, Spotify says fans will have the chance to buy tickets for any date, not just for the venue closest to them. Your window is typically around a day, with two tickets to the tour held for you to purchase at any point throughout that time. That said, to get the specific date, location, and seats you prefer, we recommend purchasing as soon as you know which show you want to attend. With today’s launch, Role Model became the first artist to allow fans to purchase tickets in advance.
