Fresh from adding Ticketmaster as the first music-related ‘connector’ for its new Muse AI agent, Meta has now bagged its first streaming service: Spotify.
People using Muse can now connect it to their Spotify account, enabling the agent to “play music on Spotify, save songs to your Library, build playlists, help you find a book or podcast, and more – all from a conversation”.
This is just the latest integration with an AI tool for Spotify, which launched its ChatGPT app in October 2025, then a connector for Anthropic’s Claude in April 2026. The service’s own interface has also been getting more conversational through AI.
Adding Muse to its stable of AI partners is a logical move, building on Spotify and Meta’s historically-close relationship. Muse also has some momentum: 2.8m downloads of its mobile app in its two launch territories – the US and Canada – in the 12 days after its release.
In separate Spotify news this morning, the company has expanded its beta ‘Taste Profile’ feature to the US, following its launch in New Zealand earlier this year.
The feature enables people to see what Spotify thinks their tastes are in music, podcasts and audiobooks, and give its recommendation algorithm a nudge with notes.
