Sony Music Publishing sues Anthropic

Sony Music Publishing filed a copyright infringement lawsuit against Anthropic in the Northern District of California, alleging direct and contributory infringement over the use of song lyrics in AI training. The suit, filed by the same law firm as the Concord Music cases, is the 13th copyright action against Anthropic and is expected to be reassigned to Judge Lee.
