Snowflake Completes IRAP Protected Assessment on Google Cloud Platform

Snowflake completed an Infosec Registered Assessors Program (IRAP) assessment for its deployment on Google Cloud Platform in Melbourne, confirming alignment with the Australian Government’s Protected level security requirements. The assessment, conducted by Australian Signals Directorate-endorsed third-party assessors, evaluated controls against the ASD Information Security Manual. This milestone expands Snowflake’s support for protected workloads to three cloud providers in Australia, enabling federal, state, and defence agencies to deploy secure data analytics and AI workloads across AWS, Microsoft Azure, and now Google Cloud Platform.
