Siri AI will make the Apple Watch a fully-fledged AI wearable in watchOS 27

Apple is bringing Siri AI to the Apple Watch with watchOS 27, marking a major upgrade that could make the device the first mainstream wearable AI product. The new Siri AI system, already available in iOS 27 developer beta via AirPods, will be integrated into the dedicated Siri app on the watch, requiring Apple Watch Series 9 or later, Ultra 2 or later, or SE 3.

I definitely don’t always wear my AirPods, and I don’t always have my iPhone unlocked and available. My Apple Watch, on the other hand, is almost always unlocked on my wrist and ready to go. If Siri AI continues to impress and watchOS 27 delivers as promised, Apple Watch will be the first mainstream wearable AI product overnight.
