When the new updates launch, it appears Apple will use a waitlist and limit initial access. On the *MacRumors* forums, [Mactracker](https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/apple-preparing-dynamic-siri-ai-waitlist-messages-ahead-of-fall-launch.2487875/) found that the seventh betas of iOS 27, iPadOS 27, and macOS Golden Gate include waitlist infrastructure. Apple will use dynamic wait time messages once a user joins the Siri AI waitlist. It looks like Apple will give a clear estimate of the wait, and the company will be able to adjust the wait time readouts server-side based on demand and capacity. It took up to a week for some people to get access, but there's no indication yet of how long people might have to wait after the public launch in September.
