Hi, I made a simple picture quiz. You see a picture of a thing or a person and have to give the correct answer. I know, nothing fancy.
My initial idea was to just have scientists quiz with people like Lee Smolin, Max Tegmark (some “personal heroes”), etc. because I am huge fan of scientific interviews/content on youtube (my favorite channel is “Closer to Truth” with Robert Lawrence Kuhn) and I wanted to see if I know them all or get to know new ones.
Now it contains many more categories but the scientists one is still the biggest.
I am a developer for over 20 years. This is one of my first purely “vibe coded” apps. I mainly used Claude Fable and Opus (some GPT Sol e.g. for the app store screenshots).
It also turned into a halfway commercial product because it sells the full version containing all pictures and categories. So far it got 1 purchase... which was from a friend testing :p
It's hosted entirely on cloudflare (uses workers and durable objects). React 19, TypeScript 5.9, Vite 8, Capacitor 8, with native Swift/StoreKit. Android version is coming next weeks.
