Show HN: Twixt – transform one word into another in four moves

Twixt is a daily word puzzle where players must transform a given start word into an end word in exactly four moves, using each of four move types—Anagram, Verb, Homophone, and Compound—exactly once in any order. Each puzzle has only one valid solution, and the same word cannot appear twice in the path, with the final move landing precisely on the end word. Players can undo moves while solving, and hints are available to reveal move types or fill in correct words for stuck slots.

Twixt Each day, a new puzzle: a start word and an end word. Transform start into end in exactly four moves. Use each of the four move types exactly once, in any order. Anagram Rearrange all the letters into a different word. e.g. heart → earth table → bleat shore → horse Verb Switch to any other form of the same verb. e.g. walk → walks, walked, walking write → writes, wrote, written, writing run → runs, ran, running be → am, is, are, was, were, been, being Homophone Swap to a word that sounds the same but is spelled differently. e.g. write → right sea → see thyme → time Compound Jump to a word that combines with the current one to form a common compound word. e.g. sea → horse seahorse watch → tower watchtower worm → book bookworm Rules - Each puzzle has only one valid solution. - The same word cannot appear twice in your path. - The last move must land exactly on the end word. - You can undo any move while you're still solving. - One new puzzle each day, reset at your local midnight.
