Show HN: Texpile – An open-source, Typora-style editor for LaTeX and Typst Texpile, an open-source Typora-style editor for LaTeX and Typst, launched on Hacker News' Show HN with live preview that renders most changes in under 20 ms by running its own script inside the user's existing lualatex installation. The editor supports real-time collaboration for up to 8 other people with no account required and end-to-end encryption, and integrates AI assistants including Claude Code, Codex, Gemini, Copilot and OpenCode using the user's own subscription rather than an API key. Texpile also offers MCP connectivity for Claude and other AI assistants, citation lookup by title or DOI via Crossref, arXiv, ISBN and PubMed, and version history tracked separately from git. Math Tab finds any symbol by name. LaTeX, Typst, and Markdown One file, two ways to write it. We write it Texpile, not TeXpile.
