# Show HN: Startup research website, crunchabse and Product Hunt and grokipedia

Crunchbase is $49/month, which isn't great if you wanna learn and your not an angel or a VC.

At the same time I stumbled on grokipedia, and though it was a stupid website.

But then I realized that by using AI agents to research similar to grokipedia, and assembling the info into detailed crunchbase style profiles, I can create a free alt to crunchbase.

So I made an admin dashboard that lets me use custom ai agents to research startups and push to the site.

I put up measures to stop hallucination, but obviously they aren't perfect, and so i added a feature where people can report inaccuracies.

NOTE : If one of the profiles you visit seems wonky and has very little info, its because of a rendering bug, I'm working on fixing it right now.
