Show HN: Sitcom Flavour – Season your Claude Code chats with sitcom replies

A developer released Sitcom Flavour, an MIT-licensed Claude Code plugin that adds occasional sitcom catchphrases to chat replies, configured through a line in CLAUDE.md. The tool was inspired by a Brooklyn 99-flavored response ("Hot damn! This is exactly what we're looking for.") that the developer received after showing Claude Code a tool it could use, and it now covers several shows with installation instructions on a companion website and source on GitHub.

I wanted to give my chats a little color and added a line to my CLAUDE.md: "Occasionally season replies with a Brooklyn 99 flavoured line "Noice", "Cool cool cool cool cool", "Hot damn", etc. . Only when it lands and preferably on a win or a clean result. Never in things pushed to remote or anything else that outlives the conversation." Later, in a session, it told me that it didn't not know something and I showed it a tool that it could use. The reply I got? Hot damn This is exactly what we're looking for. It timed the phrase so well and I enjoyed it so much that I wanted to extend the idea. First I made the idea into a plugin, then added a few more shows, and created a website to explain how to install, how it works, and its ups and downs.
