Inspect and remove supported AI metadata, including Content Credentials and generator information. Private metadata removal is optional. Your file stays on your device.

Same image, different file
This demonstration uses the exact same visible pixels on both sides. Only the supported portable provenance surrounding the image changes.

A verifiable process
Read the file container and identify supported provenance without decoding or up it.
Remove only the selected portable AI and optional private information.
Inspect the rebuilt file again before making the download available.
File coverage
JPEG · PNG · WebP · AVIF · HEIC · BMP · GIF · TIFF
Content Credentials, generator records and optional private metadata.
PDF · DOCX · PPTX · XLSX · HTML · SVG · MD
Supported document properties, image metadata, XMP and markup provenance.
MP4 · MOV · M4V
Portable provenance and generator information without re-encoding.
WAV · MP3 · FLAC · M4A
Supported provenance and descriptive tags without re-encoding audio.
Paste · UTF-8 .txt
Inspect and selectively remove supported hidden Unicode characters.
The current cleaner runs in this browser. We do not receive the file, filename, extracted metadata or cleaned output.
Clear answers
We describe only what the file inspection can verify. No universal AI detector exists.
It removes detectable AI metadata and provenance such as Content Credentials, C2PA/JUMBF records, generator information and selected metadata supported by each file format.
No. The current cleaners process supported files and text inside your browser. The selected content is not uploaded.
No. A clean result means the supported portable signals were not found after cleaning. It does not prove how the content was created.
Not necessarily. Platforms may use portable metadata, their own detection systems or creator disclosure. Free AI Wiper only verifies the signals it can inspect in the file.
For supported WAV, MP3, native FLAC and M4A files, the cleaner preserves the original audio bytes without re-encoding. Metadata cleanup does not detect or remove SynthID or other watermarks embedded in the sound.
For supported image formats, the cleaner preserves the encoded image payload and removes container metadata. It does not recompress the visible pixels.
Images, documents, MP4/MOV video, WAV/MP3/FLAC/M4A audio and text are available today. Nothing is uploaded and your original stays untouched.
