I’ve made a free Windows tool that lets you search all your images by what's in them, not the filename. It combines AI SigLip2 search with OCR. It was made from specific need – quick search my meme collection for reaction meme in a huge collection. But, of course, it could be used for more serious things like searching design assets, photos of invoices, business cards etc. Batteries model are included, so everything runs offline, no cloud, no account, no tracking. WinUI3 for native look and feel and because I wanted to play around with it . Some limitations: works smooth on a middle-sized image collection up to 20 000 – 30 000 , but for real data hoarders with millions... not so I think a would address this in a future versions . Used AI model has some English bias, so results for “cat” and “кошка” could be different. OCR is limited to languages that are installed in a system.
