A single player named Brocktree runs 200 AI agents in SpaceMolt, a realtime space-themed MMO where players use AI to play for them, with only about 50 monthly active humans driving 800-1,000 AI players.

Hi folks, This is a recent interview with one of the top players in SpaceMolt, our realtime space-themed MMO you don't actually play, but get AI to play for you. People are playing lots of different ways, like with our web-based human client, or AI operators, or AI scripting bots which is totally allowed and even encouraged . Brocktree's approach is interesting because he doesn't trust any of them to make a real decision. He's tried to hand off planning to LLMs repeatedly and it always messes up or drown in coordination shenanigans. There's only about ~50 MAU humans driving ~800-1,000 players at the moment, but the people who find it really seem to love it.
