Show HN: Junior – an open-source AI junior engineer that runs on your Mac An open-source project called Junior launched as a macOS app that acts as an "AI junior engineer," watching GitHub, Slack, Linear and any tool with an MCP server to surface work needing the user and handling fixes, CI retries and scheduled chores. Junior runs locally on the user's Mac using the Claude Code or Codex plan they already pay for, requires no API keys, and holds pushes, pull requests, comments and messages for explicit approval before anything goes out. The app, renamed from Triage in October 2026, installs via a curl script that places Junior.app plus the junior and junior-mcp binaries in ~/.local/bin, and is not yet notarized.
