Show HN: I built an AI medical-records hub after my mom's cancer diagnosis A developer built an AI-powered medical-records hub after his mother's stage 4 pancreatic cancer diagnosis overwhelmed his family with documents, appointments, and treatment options. The tool, currently free to use, combines a Rails backend, React frontend, and Anthropic's LLM to help families manage complex medical situations. My mom was recently diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer. That's both an overwhelming diagnosis but also an overwhelming flood of information, documents, appointments, options and questions. I needed a place to keep track of it all and also a place to ask questions, do research and help my parents and family do the same. So, naturally, I built something. Not charging anything for it at the moment and with as much AI as I've got layered into this, frankly it's gonna cost me a nice chunk of change to run it . Mostly interested in just making this as useful as possible to families going through long, complex and heavy situations. Tech stack: Rails backend, Inertia/React frontend, Swift for iOS, Anthropic for LLM bits.
