Show HN: I built a safety gate for autonomous coding agents

A developer released Inbin Gate, a browser-based safety gate for autonomous coding agents such as IBM Bob that lets an agent keep auto-approve enabled while restricting it to act only on values stated by an authoritative source. The tool runs a published resolver entirely in the browser with nothing sent anywhere, separating what has authority from what the agent merely read, such as a README, issues or CI log. A replay demo runs 20 proposed actions on a sample project — ten legitimate task-list actions and ten injected ones planted in the README, issues and CI log — computed live from the same resolver.

Safe auto-approve for IBM Bob. The agent keeps auto-approve on; it can act on its own only on values that someone with authority actually stated. Everything below runs the published resolver in your browser; nothing is sent anywhere.

1. What has authority #

2. What the agent read (no authority) #

3. What the agent proposes #

Replay: 20 proposed actions on the sample project #

Ten legitimate actions from the task list, ten injected ones planted in the README, the issues and the CI log. Computed live from the same resolver.
