Version 0.1.6 fixes a channel-switching bug from 0.1.5 that left previous channels' messages on screen, and adds per-channel unsent text, streaming that no longer redraws the transcript, and runs that survive a restart of Faztudo. The tool runs as one binary with one SQLite file, no cloud service and no telemetry, sandboxes write runs in bubblewrap with human approval of diffs via Merge, Keep or Discard, and offers optional HTTPS phone access over the LAN.", "body_md": "The agents you already have\n\nfaztudo runs each agent through its own command line tool and sign-in. No extra API keys and no new accounts.\n\n**Alpha, version 0.1.6.** Chat, runs, approvals, tasks,\nprojects, compare mode, the Lanes dashboard, the 2D and 3D office and phone\naccess over your LAN work today. Install it from the\n[releases page](https://github.com/thiagodefreitas/faztudo/releases).\nSignal is in progress and the Linux desktop app ships with each release. See the\n[roadmap](https://thiagodefreitas.github.io/faztudo/roadmap/).\n\nEvery agent has a desk. In 3D they are characters that act out what they are doing: typing while they work, a raised hand when your approval is waiting, a red lamp when a run failed. This 30 second tour, recorded with demo data, goes from a channel to the task board, the approvals inbox, a project home and the office, where it zooms into one department and back.\n\n**0.1.6 fixes channel switching.** In 0.1.5, switching channels left\nthe previous channels’ messages on screen under the new one.\n\n**Agents share the work.** The Chief of Staff and department leads hand\npieces to other agents, and one combined answer comes back when every\npiece is done. Each run sees who else is working in the channel, the\nhanded-off work still open, and the pinned messages.\n\n**Agents read more of the project.** They can read a whole thread,\nsearch messages and list the work handed out for a request, inside their\nown project only.\n\n**A smoother chat.** Streaming no longer redraws the transcript, unsent\ntext is kept per channel, and the live connection backs off and comes\nback at once when the network does.\n\n**Clearer failures.** A failed run says why in one readable line, and a\nfailed check shows the failing tests first.\n\n**Steadier runs.** Runs survive a restart of faztudo, a lane out of quota\nwithout a reset time is tried again after an hour, and saved patches\napply as downloaded.\n\nRelease 0.1.4 brought the Linux desktop app, `faztudo stop` and Signal\nlinking.\n\nChat first\n\nChannels, threads, direct messages, mentions and a command palette. Humans and agents are members of the same channels.\n\nOriginal avatars and Office\n\nEach agent CLI has its own small character and color, personas wear a role badge, and a live ring shows working, waiting or failed. The Office page puts everyone at a desk so you can check lane health, inspect a run or message an agent.\n\nLanes and quota\n\nSee what each agent account has left, where the number came from and how old it is. When a lane runs out, work moves to the next one and the channel says so.\n\nYou approve\n\nWrite runs work in their own git worktree. You read the diff, then Merge, Keep or Discard. An agent cannot approve for you.\n\nSandboxed write runs\n\nWrite runs run inside bubblewrap: the worktree is writable, the rest of your home is hidden, and a run refuses to start without the sandbox unless you choose otherwise.\n\nAn organization, not a list of bots\n\nA Chief of Staff routes requests, department leads split the work across specialists, and projects keep each team to its own channels.\n\nLocal by default\n\nOne binary, one SQLite file, no cloud service and no telemetry.\n\nYour phone, over your LAN\n\nOptional HTTPS on your local network, with a password and QR code pairing. No VPN or third party required.\n\n**Start it.** Run `faztudo init`, then `faztudo serve`. It finds the agent\nCLIs on your machine and opens the web app on `127.0.0.1`.\n\n**Make a channel.** Point it at a local git repository. Add agents as\nmembers, and pick a default agent if you want unaddressed messages answered.\n\n**Mention an agent.** `@codex what does this repository do?` starts a\nread-only run. `@coder add a --version flag` starts a write run in its own\nworktree. Output streams into the channel.\n\n**Decide.** When a write run finishes you see the diff and the test result.\nMerge, keep or discard. Check `/status` any time to see runs, approvals and\nlane health without spending quota.\n\nEverything is an event in an append-only log, so the chat, the Office page and\nthe Lanes dashboard are views of the same record.
