ContextSwitch, a new browser extension for Chrome and Edge, lets users copy a conversation thread from ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini and continue it in another provider without retyping. The tool extracts the current chat, lets users choose to send the full conversation or the last 10 or 20 messages, and pastes the thread into the destination composer. It also supports exporting conversations as .chatbridge JSON files for later import, and claims no data leaves the browser.
