Reporails released Claude Mods, a set of classic desktop games packaged as Claude Code plugins, starting with a Minesweeper game called minefield that runs in a side pane while Claude works. The mods require Claude Code 2.1.287 or later, install via `/plugin marketplace add reporails/arcade` and `/plugin install minefield@reporails-arcade`, and hook no prompt, tool or attachment, making no network calls. The games are written in strict TypeScript under an MIT license, with CI running typecheck, validation and tests on Claude Code 2.1.285 and 2.1.288.

Without it the pane sits above the prompt and the games are played with the keys alone. These mods draw a pane and keep a best time in their own store. They hook no prompt, tool or attachment, so they read and change nothing the model sees, and they make no network calls.
