Show HN: Buildnotes – Turn pull requests in "how it's made" posts Buildinternet released Buildnotes, a skill for coding agents that reads a feature's issues, pull requests, commits and reviews and turns them into "how it's made" posts, videos, decks and standalone figures. Buildnotes installs via `npx skills add buildinternet/buildnotes` and runs inside a repository with the `/buildnotes [post | video | deck]` command on Claude Code, Codex and OpenCode, requiring Node 22, git and Chrome. The tool works in three steps — gathering the issues, PRs, commits and reviews, picking the few decisions worth a chapter, then drawing figures, writing the piece and checking it — and can target output at engineers or users. Turn pull requests into posts and videos worth sharing. How it was built, and why. A skill for coding agents.
