TL;DR: 40k ft view, it's a friend-making app Hey everyone! Basically, at work, I recently instrumented a massive CRM with a massive number of CLI/MCP operations - over 1.5k. So naturally I wanted to see if I could apply similar methods to a personal project. I give you: New Drugs. Based on the idea that people have already gotten addicted to social media not unlike actual drugs, New Drugs aims to use that addiction for good and actually improve your life by integrating Twitter, Bumble BFF, ChatGPT, and a diary into one.
From a technical standpoint, New Drugs consists both of a somewhat typical UI as well as a full matching CLI/MCP operation set. This allows you to operate the website through in-app or external agent chat. The CLI provides a semantic search across the possible operations to allow for the number to grow past what efficiently fits in initial context. I really enjoy this pattern.
