Show HN: An enjoyable and efficient way for product teams to communicate Fosbury, a new messaging platform for product teams, launched in public alpha at fosbury.ai, offering a keyboard-first, asynchronous alternative to tools like Slack with structured public channels where conversations can be prioritized, assigned, resolved, and closed. The founders built it to counter the noise and shallow interactions of current messaging tools, emphasizing depth and focus for engineering and product work. The platform is free during the alpha period. We grew frustrated with how noisy, shallow, and out-of-step messaging tools are with the way teams actually work today. It is rare to find a top product company in Silicon Valley that truly works asynchronously, yet nearly all of them describe themselves that way. Slack is still open all day, and the pings keep arriving. We believe engineering problem-solving and product work is exactly the kind of work that requires depth and focus. So, we built the opposite Speed and zero friction: keyboard-first, no loading states between you and the thought you are trying to send. Structure by default: public channels only, and conversations can be prioritized, assigned, resolved, and closed, so a thread has a state and an outcome, not just a scroll position. Async by default: nothing here assumes you are online, rewards you for being online, or punishes you for being away.
