Show HN: Agent-Chrome – Claude Code browses in Chrome without stealing focus Developer rav4nn released agent-chrome, a free open-source Claude Code plugin that lets the AI agent browse in a copy of the user's signed-in Chrome while the browser window stays behind the terminal instead of stealing focus. The tool requires macOS, Google Chrome, Node 18.3 or later, and Claude Code, and installs via the command "/plugin marketplace add rav4nn/agent-chrome"; each Chrome profile added becomes its own MCP server named chrome-, with a roughly 25 MB background proxy per profile. It differs from Playwright MCP and Chrome DevTools MCP by keeping the window visible yet unfocused, reusing existing Chrome sign-ins, and letting multiple Claude Code sessions share one signed-in browser. agent-chrome lets Claude Code use a copy of your signed-in Chrome. The window opens behind your other apps, so you keep typing while Claude browses as you. Focus stays where you left it. /plugin marketplace add rav4nn/agent-chrome Free and open source. Needs macOS, Google Chrome, Node 18.3 or later, and Claude Code.
