Show HN: A framework for Raspberry Pi pico projects Developer AdrianCX released Picohive, a framework for Raspberry Pi Pico microcontroller projects that adds TLS, MQTT, Telegram, calendar, MCP and OpenAI API connectivity within 256-512KB of RAM. Picohive routes command classes dropped into a folder automatically via macros, and includes encrypted logs over UDP, encrypted and signed OTA updates, a web page and secure TLS; sample projects include an e-paper display, a robot arm and an irrigation controller. The developer posted the framework to Hacker News seeking feedback on its usefulness and ideas for additions. Developing Raspbery Pi Pico projects is a very fun hobby for me Ended up with something that makes my life much easier Above lets me build projects that have tls/mqtt/telegram/calendar/mcp/openai API connectivity within bounds of a microcontroller 256-512KB ram All i need is to drop some command classes in a folder and some macros and they're routed automatically. I also have encrypted logs over udp, encrypted/signed OTA, a nice web page, secure TLS and more That makes projects like below pretty easy: - https://github.com/adriancx/picohive-epaper https://github.com/adriancx/picohive-epaper - https://github.com/AdrianCX/picohive-robotarm https://github.com/AdrianCX/picohive-robotarm - https://github.com/AdrianCX/picohive-irrigation https://github.com/AdrianCX/picohive-irrigation Looking for some feedback if it's useful, what else might be fun to add or build Comments URL: https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=50357137 https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=50357137 Points: 1 Comments: 0
