TASK CONCURRENT - CLOSED LOOP ADAPTATION## Don't leave deep work to fate.
Some days everything clicks and three hours pass like ten minutes. It’s the best work you do. You need that on command.
Deep work, on purpose. #
One tap to lock in.
10am lives in your menu bar. Tap the egg; it hatches; the block starts. No timer screen, no breathing exercise, nothing to step away for. You just keep working.
Screen and sound sustain focus.
A quiet rhythm in your screen and audio, low-contrast, tuned to reduce distraction on the cognitive level. More on the mechanism below.
Stop, and your score prints.
See how you feel: camera and system signals, optional and off by default, help you understand your mental state in real time. No extra devices. Nothing leaves your Mac.
Bring your calls and music. #
10am sound mixes with whatever you’re already hearing. When your system speaks, it makes room. Nothing to mute, nothing to turn off, nothing competing for your attention.
Listening to music? 10am coordinates in real time.

What does your 10am look like? #

10am runs through VAEL. #
Vision is the brain’s widest channel, about a third of cortex. 10am reaches it with a low-contrast rhythm over your screen, faint enough that you stop noticing it in about a minute. Your visual cortex doesn’t.
The same rhythm runs inside your audio: its own quiet sound, or locked to your music. Two senses carrying one signal, each reinforcing the other.
Show your visual system a steady pulse and it falls in step, measurably, on an EEG. Neuroscience has used this effect to read attention for about forty years. 10am runs it the other way.
Not a session, not another app. It runs underneath whatever you’re already doing, and you keep working the whole time. That’s the part everything else gets wrong.

TRAINING, NOT TREATMENT · NO MEDICAL CLAIMS
Nothing leaves your Mac. #
Optional, off by default. Frames are read on-device, never stored, never uploaded.
Never what you type. Only the rhythm.
Nothing about what’s on it is captured, uploaded, or stored.
Everything stays local. Local API and MCP access available upon request so your tools can see what 10am sees.
Not a toggle buried in settings. The architecture.
First days on the house. #
A card goes on file when you start the trial in the app. Cancel before your free days end and you pay nothing. Promo and referral codes apply at the plan step.
Fair questions. #
Is this a meditation app? #
No. There are no sessions and nothing to sit through. You open the hard thing and go. The layer works underneath while you work.
Is this a medical thing? #
No. 10am is training, not treatment, and it makes no medical claims. It treats attention like a performance skill you build, not a condition you fix. And plainly: if focus struggles are seriously disrupting your life, a clinician beats an app.
Will I see it flickering? #
For about a minute, faintly. Then it slips under your attention and you’re just working. Intensity is yours to set, down to imperceptible.
What about photosensitivity? #
The layer uses gentle, low-contrast rhythms well clear of the harsh strobe range, and intensity is always under your control. If you’re photosensitive or flicker-sensitive, check with a clinician first.
Do I need headphones or a wearable? #
No wearable, ever. 10am uses your screen and whatever audio you already work with. Music is optional. The layer carries its own quiet sound, and locks to yours the moment you press play.
What does it cost? #
The download is free, and your first days are on the house — 3 on weekly ($5.99), 7 on monthly ($14.99), or 10 on yearly ($99.99). A card goes on file when you start your trial in the app; cancel before your free days end and you pay nothing. Yearly members can also up to 5 weeks a year.
Windows? #
Yes — Windows 11. macOS came first and the newest features land there first, but both are fully local.
Made for your hardest hours. #
