**Hello Hugging Face Team,**

I am experiencing severe network instability and bandwidth throttling when downloading large GGUF files (over 20GB) directly from your CDN. The connection exhibits a constant “sawtooth” behavior, dropping to 0 MB/s and forcing aggressive retries via `curl -L -C -`

.

Here are my network diagnostics to help your infra team isolate the routing issue:

**Location:** Mazatlan, Sinaloa, Mexico.
**ISP:** Telmex (Fiber Optic, 250 Mbps plan).
**Ping to **[huggingface.co](http://huggingface.co): Excellent (22ms stable, 0% packet loss).
**DNS:** Tested with both Google (8.8.8.8) and Cloudflare (1.1.1.1).
**Cross-provider test:** Downloads from GitHub CDN (Fastly) run at a completely flat 300 Mbps without a single drop. This isolates the bottleneck entirely to the Hugging Face / Cloudflare routing path assigned for Telmex users in northwest Mexico.

It seems like the edge node or gateway serving this specific region is throttling connections upon reaching maximum packet throughput on massive binary files. Could you please review the routing matrix or CDN peering agreements for Telmex MX?

Thank you!
