The past week at SerpApi brought new APIs, features, expanded scraping capabilities, steady improvements to existing APIs, and a range of important bug fixes.

## ⭐️ Top Updates

### [Google Gemini API](https://serpapi.com/google-gemini-api)

We've added the new Google Gemini API, making it easy to scrape answers from Google Gemini, Google's AI assistant. Send any prompt, and the API returns Gemini's answer as structured text blocks (paragraphs, headings, lists, tables, and code blocks), along with the sources Gemini cites, the places and products it shows from Google Maps and Google Shopping, its images, the follow-up questions it suggests, and the full answer in Markdown. You can also continue a conversation with follow-up prompts and see the location Gemini answered for. It's ideal for developers building AI visibility and brand monitoring tools, GEO and SEO analytics, citation tracking platforms, and AI agents that need to see exactly how Gemini answers a question and which sources it relies on. [Details](https://github.com/serpapi/public-roadmap/issues/2617)

### [Duck AI API](https://serpapi.com/duck-ai-api)

We've added the new Duck AI API, making it easy to scrape answers from Duck AI, DuckDuckGo's private AI chat. Send any prompt and choose the AI model that answers it, including GPT, Claude Haiku, Mistral Small, gpt-oss, and Gemma models. The API returns the answer as structured text blocks (paragraphs, headings, lists, tables, and code blocks), along with the sources Duck AI cites, the related searches it suggests, and the full answer in Markdown. You can also continue a conversation with follow-up prompts. It's ideal for developers building AI visibility and brand monitoring tools, LLM answer comparison and benchmarking platforms, GEO analytics, and AI agents that need to compare how different models answer the same prompt. [Details](https://github.com/serpapi/public-roadmap/issues/3433)

### [Naver AI Mode API](https://serpapi.com/naver-ai-mode-api)

We've added the new Naver AI Mode API, making it easy to scrape answers from Naver's AI Tab. Send any query, and the API returns the answer as structured text blocks (paragraphs, headings, lists, tables, and code blocks), along with the sources it cites, the products and places it shows, images and videos, related questions, and the full answer in Markdown. You can also make a conversation continuable and ask follow-up questions. When Naver shows an AI Mode answer for a regular search, the [Naver Search API](https://serpapi.com/naver-search-api) now also returns a ready-to-use link to this API. It's ideal for developers building AI visibility and brand monitoring tools for the Korean market, GEO analytics, market research platforms, and AI agents that need Naver's AI answers. [Details](https://github.com/serpapi/public-roadmap/issues/4095)

### [Target Search API](https://serpapi.com/target-search-api)

We've added the new Target Search API, making it easy to scrape products from Target search results. Search at any Target store, set the ZIP code to deliver to, and sort and filter results just like on Target, by category, price, deals, brands, sizes, colors, guest ratings, and more. For each product, the API returns its TCIN, title, brand, price with deals and original price, rating and number of reviews, badges, color swatches, and its availability for pickup, same day delivery, and shipping, along with the applied and popular filters, and optionally every available filter. It's ideal for developers building price monitoring and competitor tracking tools, retail analytics and digital shelf platforms, product research workflows, and AI shopping assistants that need real-time Target product data. [Details](https://github.com/serpapi/public-roadmap/issues/1661)

### [Google Events API](https://serpapi.com/google-events-api)

The Google Events API is back, rebuilt on Google's mobile events listing. Search for events with a query like "events in Austin", and the API returns each event's title, type, date and time, venue, address, ticket links with sources and prices, thumbnail, and location map, along with a map of all the listed events. Google currently serves this listing for US English searches only, so you can target a location through the query itself (e.g., "events in Paris") or by setting the search location. It's ideal for developers building event discovery platforms, city guides, ticketing and price comparison tools, and AI travel and local assistants that need real-time event data. [Details](https://github.com/serpapi/public-roadmap/issues/4117)

### [Google Event Details API](https://serpapi.com/google-event-details-api)

We've added the new Google Event Details API, making it easy to get the full details of a single event from Google. Each event in the events results of the [Google Search API](https://serpapi.com/search-api) now includes a ready-to-use link to this API, which returns the event's title, date, address, venue, ticket information with prices, description, thumbnail, and location map. You can also include places near the venue, similar events, and related web results. It's ideal for developers building event discovery and ticketing platforms, travel and local guides, venue analytics tools, and AI assistants that need complete event details. [Details](https://github.com/serpapi/public-roadmap/issues/3197)

### [Yahoo! Trends API](https://serpapi.com/yahoo-trends-api)

We've added the new Yahoo! Trends API, making it easy to scrape the trending topics displayed on Yahoo! Trends. Each topic includes its rank, title, description, category, and hashtag, along with related articles, videos, and AI questions when available, and the response also lists the trending categories with their topic counts and topic milestones. The API returns up to 100 topics per page, with pagination for more, and can also include playable video links. It's ideal for developers building news monitoring dashboards, trend and content research tools, social media and marketing platforms, and AI agents that need to know what's trending right now. [Details](https://github.com/serpapi/public-roadmap/issues/4178)

### Multi-Factor Authentication is now available for all accounts

We're excited to make multi-factor authentication (MFA) available for all SerpApi accounts. You can turn it on from the Security page of your dashboard by scanning a QR code with an authenticator app like 1Password, Google Authenticator, Authy, or Microsoft Authenticator, and SerpApi will then ask for a one-time code from the app whenever you sign in or reset your password. When you set it up, you also get 10 one-time recovery codes to use if you ever lose access to your authenticator app, and we email you whenever MFA is turned on or off and whenever recovery codes are generated or used. Turning MFA off requires a code from your authenticator app or a recovery code, not just your password. With MFA turned on, a stolen password or access to your email alone isn't enough to get into your account, keeping your dashboard, API key, and billing details safe.
