The new response includes available routes, departure and arrival times, trip duration, transfers, fares, operators, ticket providers, and detailed itinerary segments in a structured JSON format. This makes it simple to build AI-powered travel assistants, trip planners, multimodal routing applications, fare comparison tools, and conversational agents that can answer transportation questions or recommend the best travel options without the complexity of parsing Google's rich answer boxes.
